Funding reconciliation

Turn funded activity into a clear commercial position.

Reconciliation is where an arrangement becomes legible: what was funded, what was paid, what charges applied and what the resulting position is.

03 Why it matters

Visibility is the point.

A funding arrangement that cannot be explained at the end of a period is a liability, however well it performed. Reconciliation exists so the commercial position is understood by the parties to it — not reconstructed under pressure when someone asks a question.

Because the record is maintained through payment and commercial administration as the arrangement runs, reconciliation becomes a review rather than an investigation.
